Tengku Fauzan is an HR and IT professional specialising in information systems, data analytics and digital workplace solutions, with over ten years of experience across Malaysia, Indonesia and Cambodia. Educated in the United States with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and holding a Master of Business Administration from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), he is passionate about humanising technology by designing learning ecosystems, governance frameworks and digital tools that improve both organisational performance and employee experience.
He is currently attached to a consumer credit company based in Kuala Lumpur, where he focuses on Learning and Development, HR governance and HR technology. He has led end to end training lifecycles and HRD Corp levy utilisation, implemented digital learning platforms such as Moodle LMS and Google Classroom, and developed data driven dashboards to give leaders real time visibility of learning and talent metrics. Alongside L&D, he supports HR digitalisation and business process optimisation, including the implementation of Google Workspace and low code applications to streamline onboarding, training administration and internal communication.
Previously, Tengku Fauzan served in Training and Compliance roles in higher education and in a technology company providing cloud based systems to clients across Malaysia and Indonesia. These roles enabled him to design and deliver programmes for diverse stakeholders, including social media training for law enforcement and workflow based training for enterprise resource planning solutions. He has also managed and coached small customer support teams, strengthening both technical capability and customer centric service delivery.
Governance and compliance are a consistent thread in his career. He has served as an internal auditor for ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and ISO 27001 Information Security Management Systems, and he regularly designs and delivers training on Code of Conduct, Anti Bribery and Corruption, Personal Data Protection and workplace safety. His certifications include MBOT Graduate Technologist status, HRD Corp Train the Trainer, Certified Human Resources Officer, data analytics and data engineering credentials, and foundational cybersecurity programmes from Cisco and ISC2.
He is particularly interested in roles that sit at the intersection of HR, technology and governance, such as Learning and Development leadership, HR technology, digital transformation and project management. He enjoys working with cross functional teams to translate business needs into digital solutions, from requirements gathering and functional specifications to user acceptance testing and change management. Above all, he is motivated by building organisations where data, systems and people work together to create secure, inclusive and engaging workplaces.
